I have also done restoration and repairs to multiple iconic theaters in Los Angeles, including Tower Theater, the Los Angeles Theater, May Theater, etc. Another notable restoration was the historic landmark Uptown Theater in Napa, California, which was a full restoration of an Art Deco ceiling, mural, and borders, totaling 10,000 square ft. of challenging hand painted decor .
Sometimes I am asked to create a unique environment for a special event. Two standouts were the Tucson Convention of 2014 in Las Vegas. My team and I turned the Aria Convention Center into an outdoor park with custom lunch trucks and multiple events areas. Another party event was for Salesforce/Evently in San Francisco, California. This we built on the spot, creating a speakeasy with a secret entrance to the event.
